    Jimmy the cat 2

    Here's my cat in a serious mood. Any hints on what the best way to B&W a photo in Photoshop?

    The black and white pictures of today don't look like the ones from the 50's. Today's pics are sharp. I'd like to make a pic that looks like the old photos of Bogart and Cagney? Any suggestions?

    Use a slower shutter speed.
    If that doesn't give you the effect you want, with very slight motion blur.
    Then try nylon stocking (only one thickness) over the front of the lens.
