    Jill

As a favor for a friend of my wife. Jill wanted pictures before the wedding. Which is today. Looking back at the pictures I took last week they are OK but I made many huge newbie mistakes. But there is only one way to learn. So please teach me..
Playing a bit here at the end of the shootings...lol

Very nice great color, my first thought was a tighter crop but I am not sure I feel that way after looking at it for some time.

    How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?

    Nice shot Greg....

I like how you "captured" (froze) the rose flower petals in the air,
yet also have a "nice blur" (indicating) live action movement in her hands.

I think is shows a little "fun time", and yet still preserving a serious, important
    moment in her life...

    Good job...

    Thanks for sharing,

    Ed

Lovely picture in many respects. I wish the grass was less defined, though. It might have been touch with the angle, but a 300mm at f/2.8 would have done the trick, perhaps.

I think it is great except for the petal in front of her face.

Pretty neat Greg. I like the simplicity and colors. Her smile is great here. It is not heavily edited which is personal taste. I think I would consider adding (more of) a vignette to draw attention to her a little more.

The petal that is blocking her face - though partially - is major, IMO. I'd like to see more petals on the upper part of the image, too. I hope this is not the only shot you have in the series. As it's impossible if not very difficult to control where the petals would be, it's not unusual that more than one attempts are needed to get the shot.

Thanks all, yes I have a couple of more takes without pedals in front of her face. But I wanted to see what you thought of this one.
