    Jc

Here is another one from the old factory. Even though I did some PP work on this I did nothing to the darkened area at the bottom.

The small c was a typo and was corrected in my gallery, not to offend anyone.

Greg, I think you have framed this fine and handled the exposure pretty well. The subject is good. I would say that bringing out a little detail in that very dark area under the lockers would help. Personally, I would have liked to have either more floor and a bit less ceiling, or vice versa.Somehow, and equal amount of floor and ceiling here bugs me a bit, perhaps because it sort of centers the lockers. Overall, I think you found a good subject and brought it out well.

    Hi Grey,
Doing graffiti is a big no-no. I think the inclusion of the dangling ruins in the shot is very good.

Gary, Thanks for the help. I have been known to crop a little tight, so I tend not to crop in the critique forum so I can get ideas on what works. Burning and Dodgeing is something I haven't done much of and have yet to have a lot of luck with it, maybe I should practice a bit.
YoYo, I agree with the dangling ruins, so the crop maybe should be on the bottom a bit. But what is the no-no about graffiti? Clue me in, is it something should avoid???

Greg, I think yoyo is merely being humorous in suggesting that you did the graffitti on the wall. btw, I would not crop the picture any as it is now. It is fine

    Hello Greg
Looks as if you have found a great place.
This is good but I honestly dont think it brings out the potential of the subject.
I feel there is a better opportunity if you shot square on in front of the lockers and wall. But you maybe caught for space. Include the rubbish on the ground in front of the lockers and some of the dangling ceiling.
Perhaps added saturation and contrast as well.
    Tom
Have you the chance of getting back in there?

I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan

Thanks Tom, This is right beside where I work. Our shop is actually part of the same complex. This area is just the unused part. I will go back and try a dead on approch. There are several subjects I didn't shot due to bad lighting so I will be going back.
