    Japanese Garden Flower....part II

    I'm really not sure if this is a flower...

    Opinions?

    I can't quite put my finger on why this doesn't work for me. The colors are beautiful and I can see why you were attracted to the shot. That said, I think the lighting has left it a bit flat. It looks like it has some incredible textures to it, but they're not coming through very strongly given what they could be. Definitely different lighting and maybe a slightly different angle to bring out more of the texture and shape?

    Thanks D. I look at this picture a lot and do wonder what is missing. I took different angles but the side view is the only one I liked. If I get a chance I'm try to manipulate it in PS.
