Very nice composition here and very pleasing to the eye too. I would be inclined though to bring back some contrast to all areas left of the bridge. At hte moment it just looks a little faded.

A nice scene that would probably make a nice large print and give a peaceful feeling to wherever its hung.
I'm sure you spent some time on composition but I can't help wondering what it would look like if you'd moved a bit farther to the right. Not a critique...just makes me wonder.

I think I agree with Tom. The red structure needs a touch more promenance in the image. Contrast, saturation or something. The overall picture is very beautiful.

    Re: Japanese garden

Thanks Tom, Greg, and Frog. I have added an edited version bringing back some color and contrast to the left area. I agree it helps.
Frog, to the right of me was some kind of barrier if I recall and not much more to the garden.
I do wish i could have gotten up a bit higher to have the top of the wooden foot bridge in front of the water rather than in front of the barrieror fencing running along the pond.

It makes me want to walk across that bridge.

    I like your edit.
    No, I DON'T need that.
