    Jalaine

I'm a sports photographer but I like to dabble in other things when I get a chance. Shot this young lady last week trying out a Canon 7D with my Canon 24-70 2.8L.

    Hi Fidgety -

These are nice portraits, I 'm sure Jaline was quite pleased with them. Here's what I see. . .
    1. Pose and lighting are good, not to comfortable about her arm being chopped off by the picture edge. Also she's got a bit of muffin top happening that could have been fixed if she'd plucked out the shirt after sitting down. The price we pay for form fitting clothes. . .

    2. Second shot is my favorite. Like the black and white treatment, like the pose, and her pensive face is very striking. You've done a good job with working the "S" pose here. The shot implies more story so I'm more engaged at looking at it.

    3. Another nice portrait but her hips are too flat to the camera. Makes her look fat and she certainly is not!:blush2: I would suggest turning her hips to point the same way as her shoulders and just have her head come back around to face you. The 2/3 facial view is right on. Background's a bit too overexposed for my taste, looks washed out. And something odd is going on with the coloring of her left foot, can't tell exactly what, maybe it's stockings. . .

Nice set of work, thanks for sharing it.
