    J9 the Diva

I am working with a local blues artist on images for her newest album. I like all of these shots and, Janine, the diva, who is notably fussy about the way she looks usually, is having trouble deciding too. Which comes across most with the idea "Save Me From Myself" which is the album title?

The last one is the best. i can't imagen why she has a problem with her looks. She is beautiful!

Bottom left for me, but I wold crop it a little so it's just her and her shirt -- not the little bit of chair and skirt.

Welcome to the forum. My vote is for #2. For me, the expresion on her face, and in her eyes say "save me from myself". The others don't say that to me at all. All the images are very nice, but for me, #2 tells the story that you want for this album. I would crop the bottom to get rid of the chair tho.

IMO, none of these match the title of the album. I think you'd need some props or somethign else for the title.

    Just my opinion,

They don't really fit the title in my opinion either. I'm jealous though, I can't do portraits!!

Almo, I got an idea.... do a composite of all of them..I think that would make more sense according to the title. Just a thought..

    Re: J9 the Diva

Thanks for your input everyone! This has been very helpful. This image won't actually be the cover shot, more likely the bio shot for the inside cover. The cover shot will be an illustration of a photo I took from a previous session (see below). Janine & I both Love it but it's blurry because I was balancing on the balls of my feet on the edge of her bed when I took the shot. We both agree it's unusable but also carries the feeling of the album so she is having an artist make it into a deco-ish illustration which we hope will carry the concept. I will definietley submit again when I find I;m on the fence.
