Into the eyes of a Child....

Natural Lighting with Nikon D70s - Camera settings not available to me right now.....

What do you think? Is there anything I could do to make this picture better?

Too bad all the people who know how to run this country are busy running taxicabs or cutting hair.

Actually I think the color on her face is a little blue/green.

Great pose but you have her in the exact center of the frame and cut her fingers off. If this is all of the image I suggest cropping about half of the space above her head and a lot from the right to get her aligned with the thirds.
    No, I DON'T need that.

This photo looks under-exposed. If you use Photoshop and the like, you can fix it. Then may be crop a bit to improve the overall composition of the photo.

In this case I don't mind the subject being centered and the only thing I wish had not happened is the chopping of her fingers.
If you cropped them, put them back.

Those eyes! What did you do to make them so vivid?

The picture was captured with just a good angle on her eyes and then I did just a slight sharpening in PS on her eyes.....

unfortunately, I did miss her fingers in the original picture..... It wasn't a staged picture, she was mad at her sister and was pouting, but it only lasted a couple seconds and she moved....... I wish I had gotten all of her hands

Re: Into the eyes of a Child....

Very nice. i agree it looks a little under exposed and giving this a light levels adjustment could bring it up. A crop. . .yes, but i'm thinking from the left up almost to the elbow and a bit from the top. Either way would work.
Yes, the hand is hurting this. Cutting it off just does not look right.
Lovely soft focus effect. Somehow i'm getting the sense that a bit of the forehead and top of the nose were either desaturated or burned the highlights in alittle. . .maybe i'm looking at this too long.
I like it has a great mood and feel to it
