    I think it is tilted to the right (you got the curb level but the background looks off) which in this case harms a really interesting image. Good use and set of colors here too.

    I don't think it's tilted, probably shot at an angle looking forward or backward and you're just seeing perspective.

    I think the lack of foreground (and all those nasty trees taking up 2/3 of the image) create an unusual look here.

    Unusual isn't always bad-and Don doesn't often do usual. So I'd have to say that for him this isn't unusually unusual (if that makes any sense ).
