Nice shot, I like the expressions on their faces and the white of the completely random bunny. Where is Ayvalik? How were your experiences there?

I've spent about 5 weeks in Turkey and LOVED it there. I've seen most of the coast and major cities as well as Cappadoccia. If you would like to see some of my shots from there they are on my website here: http://ww2.photogeeks.net:8080/index...=20&lang=en_us

Good exposure to hold the sunlight on one face with the other fully in the shade. Strong street hot. What's he selling besides rabbit?

Though I live in the U.S., I am Turkish and visit frequently - possibly planning to go again this summer. Turkey is one of the greatest places to visit as a tourist - especially the western and southern coasts. And it helps to be able to speak the language, as well.... ;)

Ayvalik is on the western coast in an area that is very beautiful and not very commercialized. However, we stayed in a very nice hotel and found a great deal of excellent restaurants, both in the cluster of cities in the area and along the water.

I looked at your pictures and liked them all. Very nice job - great memories. It looks like we have been to many of the same places.

It looked to be pieces of paper, folded. I believe it may have been a game of chance but I didn't overstay my welcome by trying to ask about it. Though I asked permission to take this shot, the men were becoming uncomfortable with my presence.

Not sure if the rabbit had anything to do with the items in the box or was just a pet...

Both times I was there I was with Turkish / English speakers most of the time so that was handy. I mostly stayed away from the tourist places so I could see the "real" Turkey. It's by far my favorite place I have visited and I would move there in a second if I could keep up the standard of living I have here. What impressed me most about Turkey were the people. I have never in my life seen people so kind and so eager to go out of their way for strangers.
