I just love how these old barns are built... we so often focus on the outside but what is in is cool too!.. What do you guys think?

    Re: Inside the Barn

JDoc......there's a blueish glow (lens flare?) at the bottom. The shot is a bit soft, but yet looks like it has something like a gaussian blur to it, so it's not altogether unpleasant.

    Re: Inside the Barn

    Hi again JDoc.
I think you got the exposure good on this one but I'd crop the bottom to get rid of the bright opening.
I do wish there were something else in there....hanging from a beam or something.
Old farm tool or something with some color.

    Re: Inside the Barn

i agree with frog about the crop but it would have been better if in the first place you changed you perspective so the the barn diagonal finished in the corner (leaving no bright opening) and mabe turn it into B&W because its already ver montoned and add some contrast.

    Re: Inside the Barn

To me this shot has potential. I agree that it needs some contrast and that b&w might be a good choice.
I would not only crop off the bottom, but also about 3 inches off the top. Just about to where those two vertical boards hit the top beam.
I really like the lines of the barn and the angle that you chose.

I basically did some dodging and burning, some blending changes and corner vignetting:

    Re: Inside the Barn

very nice I like that crop better than my idea. My crop would have taken too much off the top.
nice colors. got rid of the haze. just shows you what a little post processing can do.

I really like it too... I am just getting better with my Photoshop... we are trying to become friends...lol... someday I too will be a photo wiz kid...lol. I love the B & W but I think the natural color one would look grat in a barn wood frame...lol..
