    Infrared Statue #13

What do you think of this one? How about the crop, a little off of the bottom?

Hi Greg .. I like it! I especially like the odd green sky - it suits it. Re clipping a bit off the bottom, probably just a bit - not much - just to under the plinth.

    Cheers

I like the shot but, yes, I would take a little off the bottom. The trees in the background blend in way too much with the base of the statue. Did you use an IR filter, IR camera, or change to IR in post processing on this? Been seeing some great IR shots around the web, has me wanting to give it a try

    Hello Greg
This is my favourite of your IR experiments mainly because the abnormality of the colouring is so unreal but I feel it is very effective in this case, making for a weird and enjoyable image. Yes a bit off the bottom.

Mike,Thanks I thought it might could use a little off of the bottom.
Xia_Ke, I use a Hoya 72 IR filter on a Olympus E500. I swap the red and blue channels in channel mixer and tweak some on the hue/saturation.
Tyson, Thanks I am gald you like it.
Thanks Tom, There is a big hit or miss factor with the IR. I haven't figured out what makes one work and another not. I am glad you like this one. I will figure it all out though.
