    Indoor Soccer

Studio shot from a photoshoot yesterday. Darkened the background, some retouching on the subject. Opinions appreciated.

    Re: Indoor Soccer

    Hi there...

I definitely like the darkened background a lot. I think I would prefer to see all of either the player OR the ball, or maybe even both. With it being soccer, it almost feels incorrect to not have the guy's feet in the shot...but that's just one opinion...maybe others will feel differently!

I think it's great. Wonderful lighting, what was your set-up? I agree about at least having all of the ball in this one, although it's not distracting the way it is.

Julsoph- Thanks for the opinion. I definitely would like to revisit this subject and get the entirety of at least the ball, and getting the entirety of the player would also probably add to the picture.

Itilley- I use two elinchrom style 600s studio lights, with bounced light from the left and diffused light across the subject.
