I like the range under the tree, I agree that it tells a story.
Are there buildings on the left through the trees? I think that is a little distracting but I like everything else, great shot!

I agree that it certainly tells a story. I also agree that the buildings on the left through the trees are a bit distracting. I would also like to se a little more seperation between the upper portion of the trees and the sky.

Overall, I like this picture. I think that you composed it quite well. My only concern is that the trees mask the barn quite a lot. I understand that you tried to get the range at its best angle and I think that you succeded to do so but the trees get in the way...

You caught the lighting on the side of the barn perfect! I also love the range. I do wish the tree wasn't there, because I think it takes away from the real story in the pic - the range vs. the sunlit side of the barn. Nothing that a chainsaw and an afternoon of hard labor couldn't take care of...

Actually, you are right. What I should have said at the first place is that I find the trees to be to big/dense. Fewer trees would have been ideal I think.

The only thing that really works for me in this image is the exposure. Its just beautifully exposed. Otherwise I just don't find it very interesting.

The left side of the barn is a bit too dark to me.I think I would have preferred the picture in colour. The photo is sharp and the old stove really sets the scene and atmosphere.Very good idea and photo.
