    India - Agra

This was the Mosque which adjoins the Taj Mahal at another sunset enhanced by the pollution.

Beautiful. Lovely colors, perfect angel for the silhouette feel.

    I'm stunned,

    Dear Michael,

A fantastice photo! I like the almost blood red of the sunset and the black silloette. Great stuff. Your other photos are just as fantastic as this one. Keep up the good work.

I really like the time you spent setting this one up -- positioning so that the sun is just behind the dome, yet the colors vary from top to bottom. If it wasn't planned and just lucky -- great too! It does make a really nice shot.

Thankyou everyone for their comments. I have attached the other 2 shots that I took as well.
Aaron - it was kind of planned but kind of lucky as well. I was taking some photos of the Taj Mahal during sunset and this scene was behind me. I was trying to make some sort of silhouette but I did not expect the colours to be so full in the sky. I put this down to the slides I was using since it was my first time and I would never have expected a print negative to produce this picture. Either way I tried to compose the picture but otherwise everything else is a bit of luck.

I did saturate the colours (+20) a bit more and increase the contrast more (+15) as well for these pictures since in fact there was a little detail visible in the tower on the original. Not sure if these setttings were overboard or not.

    Michael,

Very impressive. Your third picture total, the one at the very bottom, is my favourite. Lovely, just stunning colors, and the color/contrast work you did with it is great! Having the tower to the left, and having the bird on the right, great, just stunning!

    Loving all your work!

Oh wow, Michael -- Jared is right the third one is definitely the keeper, they all are great, but the composition and balance of this one came out so wonderful!!
