    Inconvenience

    Hello Everybody
Just back from a weeks holiday on the west coast of Clare. Took lots of the usual landscapes but also found a house.
So I'll kick off with this one and maybe post a few more soon.
Please let me have your comments on this one.

This looks so surreal, Its as if the cistern is impregnated into the wall, the colours are terrific and so is the composition.

    I like this a lot.

PS I think you meant 'inconvenienced' as a title: LOL

    Tom,

I really like that shot. Nice complimentary colors, and I like how you balanced the main shapes in the composition. What I really like is that upon first look, it looks like a beautiful painting. However, when one looks closer, it's a scene of destruction. A very nice contrast in theme.

    Thumbs up,

I love this shot and as everybody pointed out, it has a very surrealistic/artistic feel to it. However, it seems a tad tilted to the right, and i'm not sure whether or not this was intentional, but it does somewhat concern me. Good shot though.

    Re: Inconvenience

Tom, first off I think you have well spotted this scene and composed this quite well. This is a fine piece. Something was just not sitting right with me though, and after viewing it over again i thinbk there is just a bit too much scene included in the frame. I tried cropping this picture from the left to eliminate all the debris on the left side, and then crop from the bottom as there is a bitt too much "junk" in the foreground and this crop really brings the tank out stronger in the scene. Very good work, Tom

    Roger, Tim and Jared.
I'm so happy you like this shot and the colours give it good impact for sure. Many thanks.

    Gary
Very interested in hearing your comments concerning a crop because to be honest I never for a moment considered a crop on this one as I really wanted to include that bit of white sink in the foreground and I'm wondering if a crop from the left would remove a lot of the devastation. So in other words I feel Gary that the crops you are thinking of would perhaps clean the image up a bit too much. But I appreciate your thoughts on this. Many thanks.

    Re: Inconvenience

Tom, it is not that i want to clean the shot up, but for me , the tank in the midst of all this chaos is strong and I felt by cropping I was able to really feel the tank in this horrid condition, whereas now it seems to me like an afterthought instead of the focal point. however you go, it is a good piece and I commend you on these latest efforts.
    Keep up the great work
