    Incoming!



    How can I improve the shot of the bee next time? I used a monopod.. hmm

    Pretty nice catch! A faster shutter speed to freeze the bee is the simple answer.

    That or a Ring Flash to stop it via the strobe effect.You also might need a bit more DOF to have the bee a little more in focus with the blossoms.

    Good color though some of the leaves are bit overexposed.

    They look properly exposed on my screen, although I use a 19" 8ms LCD.. I have an old CRT that i just installed, but its of no use except for browsing the web, poor colors.


    My EXIF on this pic was:
    1/1250
    F/9.0
    ISO 400
    Taken in raw.

    What aperture should I aim for? Lighting was hard on me today.. lol.. but there were 3 bees out in the back and I couldnt resist ;-)

    Slower shutter speed? I have a similar shot where the wings are blurred and it made for a nice effect.
