    I'll Huff and I'll Puff

On a recent road trip me and the wife stumbled upon this. Was great timing as we were just hitting the golden hour

thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Nice shot. I really like the color. I would crop the road out, slightly distracting.

I kinda agree with drew. maybe cropping the image to the bottom of the barn would take away some of the distraction. The dirty snow kinda takes away from the serene country feel to me. Hope that helps.

I appreciate the comments ... here is a recrop ... wish it was closer now with the snow gone I would go reshoot it ....

I didn't want to crop it too tight .. I think I am pushing that now ...

Fantastic find. My only complaint is that it looks overly orange.

I like the edit better as well. Do you have a shot from the other side? I would like to see more of the silo.

Yes, the cropped version is better. I don't think its overly orange as I'm betting that's true late afternoon light just before sunset.
I wonder what the story is about it.

yes the "orange" is the late afternoon light ....

greg - no I didn't think to get a shot from the otherside ... i guess i got too excited about running into this and getting the shot i did ...
also from looking at this ... if I had shot the other side then we wouldn't see the lower roof ... maybe some weekend I will head back up that way and try to find this again ...

thanks for the comments !! much appreciated

Re: I'll Huff and I'll Puff

The cropped version is excellent. Reminds me of a program recently where they moved a large silo intact several miles to the next village. You Americans are crazy.

I really like the colour of the sunset on the scene it really sets it off.

I must take my camera out more and spend more time on photography. New Year resolution went down the drain thanks to work.
