Thread: icy branch

    icy branch

    This was taken about a few weeks ago after our first ice storm.
    I wasn't sure if I liked the cropped version better or not. With the cropped version the upper right corner is blown out with no border. Kind of bothers me, what do you think?

    Hmm... I think you got a decent capture. But I'm not sure that the angle that the branch and leaves makes is great. Not your fault here. It's just not a super creative angle that mother nature used. I like the contrast between the branch and the background. The crop is also smart.

    thank you. maybe if the branch was more parallel with the trees behind it. it was kinda just hangin there, if i moved it the ice might have broken off.

    I like the angle and the exposure but the crop could probably be improved.

    I would take the top image and crop a bunch off the left.
    No, I DON'T need that.
