    Ice Cream Vendor

I took a few shots of this lady in downtown, Los Angeles. Most of the shots were just too busy and this is one of the few were I caught her eyes. I went to B&W to nuetralize the busy environment and cropped it.

I think it lacks something and the parking meter bugs me. Opinions are appreciated.

    Re: Ice Cream Vendor

Hi manacsa....Street photography is difficult just for the simple reason you have no control over subject, background, lighting etc..Patience is the key to street photography..You handled this one OK...The vendor looks a bit bored...Maybe a better shot would have been if a customer was introduced into the photo and she interacting with him/her...Yeah,,the parking meter is a pain..
