    I just looked up

Inside architecture. I just had to shoot this lobby.
(Image #4 is the original capture). That hot rail bugs me. If I crop, I lose the cool teal grille design. Any ideas?

I am no expert at post work so bear with me...I'm looking for a serious rip-it-up critique.Ha! I modified several for comparison using a simple clone tool mask, minor level adjustments. Image # 3 oversharpened, adjusted for additional abstract effect.

What do you think? I'm here to learn
    Thanks

    Re: I just looked up

I'm quite an amateur myself. The sharpening i think works well in image 3, It almost looks a little noisy though, don't you think? The way the light is reflected on the roof and the way the colors pop in this one definitely make it my favorite....

I want to say I really like it, but i just feel there is something not giving it the right "umph", it could just be it looks a little confusing so close to the other samples. I hope someone with a better eye can give you some better advice!

composition doesn't do it for me...i'm not liking the black tile roof as the end of the journey. Possibly a reshoot with more of an angle on the aluminum and very little of the black tile .

I think the 3rd shot is cool - the others don't do much for me - but the 3rd shot with the shadows on the tile is pretty cool.

The single shot, alone, right, does it for me, makes my pupils bob arond a little, visual interest for sure. Nice asymmetry.
