I like the placement of the tree, if you would have moved it anymore to the right the other tree would have distracted. I like the elements included, however the say was very dreary and did not provide the proper light to make the tree or cliff standout. I would try to photograph this again on a more sunny day, more towards the golden hour.
One this photo I would see if you could get more contrast and check the hoizon to make sure it is straight...it may be just a bit off???

    Cheers.

very pretty tree but it needs more spectacular lighting maybe? Like at sunset or a sunset with storm clouds in the background? Just ideas.....

yeah, the horizon is a bit off, a blue sky would have been nice, but I guess you cant always count on the weather.

Also, next time see how it looks if you crouch lower, it might help to have it stand out more against the sky at the bottom of the tree. (as much as could be shown with those rocks in the background that is)

    Re: I fell so alone

It sure is nice... the tree that is and the setting... nicely composed...but here's what i would suggest:

Move to the left and pan right (i am unsure as to whether this could have been done) this way you keep the tree placed where it is, and take care of the "curious" tree to the left!

The colors take it all away.... Its too dark, and lacks in richness...the green of the tree needs to be fixed, which will subsequently fix the rest of the image (as you fine tune the green you would need to fine tune the rest!)

There is a tendency sometimes to find the closest line and level it, however it is annoying to have a off-level horizon, so yeah that needs fixing, and the tree is a bit too centered...Either more sky would be required or less... In this situation, the sky is void of anything interesting, and as such, i would say no sky... Try to always look beyond what you like when you first see the picture you want to take... We tend to see something with our mind, and the result turns out different... Whatever you felt when you saw this tree and decided to take the picture, is not here...I dont see it anyway!

    Hope this helps,
    Marc
