Solid portrait of an everyday Thing. The colors and the border framing are good and don't compete with each other. Good overall exposure, etc. Not a grand work of art but an excellent example of practice for it's own sake. Keep flexing those eye muscles Daq.
Very nicely done. I love the background colors and your choice of matte coloring. The illumination you also captured quite well. The issue I do have here is that the actual art, which should be the subject, seems hard to distinguish. I am not sure why that is: was it painted/printed on a transparent background?

You know this light has always looked crooked to me too, but it isn't. Just look at the bottom compared to the frame. And yet it still always looks crooked.
It's the curvature on the top, I think.
The plain and patterned pieces look to be curving away from the image plane at the top right, and so they appear off square from this angle.
