    HS Baseball

I posted this in the sports section too but, it looks like there's a little more action here. Kinda new at this so I'd like some critique...

I find the left fielder distracting and it would have helped if he wasn't merging with the picther. I think it was a good capture with the ball but it does look kind of oddly placed and sized, not that I think you Photoshoped it, just looks that way.

Nice catch. I like the eyes of the pitcher. I haven't done any baseball photography and don't know if this is common. but I think it's great that he's looking up having just thrown a ball that hard. I agree about the outfielder blending in with the pitcher is a bit of a problem.

The one thing I would do though is crop out that orange/yellow line up top. That changes the picture and makes it stronger imo.

This may not be a big factor, but the outfielder's uniform looks different than the pitcher's. But it gives further evidence that that figure is disttracting.

I haven't shot any baseball in probably 10 years, and didn't do so well at it when I did. I think you certainly got a good catch there with the ball still in the frame...but I do think it'd be neat to see a similar shot with a bit of a slower shutter speed. I agree with the concerns about the outfielder, but he would be easy to remove.
