Nice idea John. Sort of brings out a mixed bag of emotions (hunger, indigestion,etc ). The color is good, but I feel that the lighting could definitely be better as it seems drab or whatever. DOF could be deeper also. Try a tripod next time, though it will be a challenge to get the camera to aim straight down.

A 10mm lense would give a creative angle to this idea.Just my thoughts. Thanks-a-lot... stomach growl...
GB and Derrick......yea, a hot spot or two.......I was holding the camera over the pizza, bent over, and used the on-board flash, so that explains that. I could probably use a dodge to get rid of those. As for DOF, the same goes. I'll remember that before I shoot another pizza.....LOL. As for the 10mm lens.......don't got. , so I'll have to make do.
