Looks great to me. Unusual pose for a snake--really works.

I'm not a natrue shooter but seems it would be better if the head stppd apart from the body in the background.

    Good colors!

I agree with previous comments about having the head "reaching out" from the body, kind of like peeking out. Also, try cropping off some of the sky on the right and a tiny bit off the bottom, since the snake is too centered in the middle of the frame.

    Very nice work.

I'm not sure I like the PVC pipe perch. Posed in a tree might give you nicer light, a better pose, and a more natural background. If it was looking at the camera, it would give the shot some drama.

Looks like a nice carpet python too, I know how hard they are to pose. good luck with it!

Great shot and color. For me the pole is OK gives a modern feel to it and something out of the ordinary. Nice composition too. S

Nice angle and beautiful color scheme.

Perhaps getting separation between his head and body would be better, but the fact that you have such a clean outline of the top of his head and there is a good contrast between the white of his chin and that dark shadow works very well IMO. And how would you persuade your model to pose, anyway!!?

Based on your composition, I think the clean lines of the PVC and your subject work well together.
