    Houses of Parliament

    Hi,
This was also taken with my Sony CyberShot DSC P31. Came out surprisingly well I thought, given the light conditions and the type of camera. Nothing done to it in PS other than the resize.

Any suggestions (other than use a better camera)?

    Cheers,
    Chris

    Hi,

I would use the Highlight/Shadow tool in Photoshop to bring a little more detail up on the house or parlement out of the shadows.

Crud! I can't say "Use a better Camera"

I like the diagonal angle on this, and the post, well it reminds me of the moon..but on a stick..

    Good eye!

Well, I've recently acquired a Fuji S5000, so hopefully I'll be able to take some nicer shots in future. I'm also going to join my university's photographic society and see how I get on there.

I did a B&W version of this, but I actually prefer the colours on this. Absoloutley beautiful building IMHO. More building shots to come I guess, I'll be visiting Oxford within a couple of weeks.

Anyway, thank you for the kind words.

    Chris
