    Hope (b&w)

This was first submitted in colors:
    Hope

I decided to try it in b&w, following McMadCow comment. Thanks man, I think that you were very right. The conversion allowed me to further push post-processing and I ends up with something gloomier that better match my vision.

    Comments are welcome.

The b/w version is much more emphatic, Seb. Good choice in going this route. The angle and composition are very good as well. I like how the statue is looking heavenward, despite the fact that in our denomination we don't use religious icons for worship. I think you got the effect here that you were looking for.

I like this photo a lot, but the shadow in the lower left is a bit distracting. other than that, great composition, good PP, and a great mood.

I think the shadow at the bottom it gives it a light from heaven effect, I kinda like it. Good work as usual Seb....

I didn't see the colour version till now but I still like this more than the other. To me, or actually to my eyes, this is the better one. I find it much more dramatic in that sense. Love the gesture and the apparent very visible meaning behind this even though I wish the skies were a bit more dramatic somehow.
