Getting late, time for this evenings homeward journey just as the rain stops
Thinking this might have been better posted in the something or nothing thread...

    hmm

Seems noisy in the FG. You pulled a lot of info from the foreground and I think it shows. This one isn't working for me pete, sorry. The foreground is so much stronger than the BG which is a nice sunset'y colours. Looks like it's two different scenes. I don't think it's possible in reality for those two scenes to exist at the same time and that's why it's giving my brain lots of difficulty. lol

The colors are nice. Are those water circles?, the edges are not smooth and there are other things going on that I don't understand. It seems like you applied a filter to the lower half of the picture. You should try giving the upper half the same treatment, the two halfs might blend in better.

the bottom is a nice abstract

together with the top , looks like a mistake , or ome one that played with photoshop adding random patches of color

probably need a graduated ND to obscure the top and get more detail in the bottom

Thanks for the frank critique and thoughts guys, the ground was covered in slushy mud and reflected the light a bit weirdly. I guess I may have pushed the bottom half a little, but i hadn't thought it too excessive at the time, good to get a different perspective.
