I am most taken by the horizontal lines that break up the beam of light and the diffraction that occurs throughout the rest of the image, really effective!

What are we looking at exactly?

    Thanks for sharing!

    Re: Holding on...

This photograph was taken at a club using club lightning. The model is holding on to the bars of a cage that's on the stage of the club.
    Thank you

(I probably should clarify that it wasn't a strip club heh) We waited until the club cleared out and then used the empty space and the lightning. The model is a dj there.

I like this a lot. I think I would like it better if I couldn't see where the light started. To me, it would make it look more like the light is coming through a window. But it's a great concept.

I love this image. Very powerful lighting, composition, good use of negative space without there being too much black, imo.

Btw, are you taking off Adina's handle and avatar here? It sure appears so.

I like it! However, I wonder what it would look like if we couldn't see the light source. Then again, maybe it adds a bit of mystery. Still a great capture!

Um, I'd like to hope I am not taking off anyone's handle! I've been on this forum a long while, just haven't posted anything in a long time...And the avatar is actually my eye, playing around with photoshop and one of my old pictures...

My apologies then She happens to have the same concept in her avatar as you do and has also been here quite awhile.
