    Re: Hold It right there!

The horizon needs to be levelled, and i would crop from the right to take care of the 2 white dots (water drops or boats?) that are sitting on the horizon....and maybe a little tweaking with the colors, but that's a matter of taste really....

I have no other issues.... capturing the rainbow is quite the feat

    Great shot!

    Re: Hold It right there!

I did everything MarcusK suggested and boosted the colors some with digital velvia. I feel as if I am boosting the colors a little too much though. I already upped the saturation +30 (I never like to go above 20) in raw and I used the velvia. You guys think it looks "too" overdone?

I like the one in your edit, cant see the original. Also curious about that brown thing, my guess is a surfer?

    did you remove the original?

or did you link it from flickr? (Cause I tried posting something hosted on flickr and it worked for a bit and then disappeared)

It's a surfer's head and hand over on the right.
I think the colour is overdone on the rocks certainly, but that's what layers are for
I'm just discovering the joy of adjustment layers in PS.

Thanks guys. I deleted the first one from photobucket by mistake. I just reuploaded it and hopefully it will work now.

    Re: Hold It right there!

the real problem i have with doing anything out of camera that involves more than just a little tweak is knowing where to stop..

but if the boat was considered an imperfection so must the surfer (brown speck) be..
