I like the composition of the shot, it looks like the softer light from later in the day. If any negatives I see, it appears to be grainy. Did you intend for that?

I could try and say "yeah...grainy...goes with the sand..." but that' s a bit much even for me. No. I just have a seriously big crop here, and played up the contrast/sharpness a bit too much. I am the queen of the overdone. Thanks for looking. I'll watch for the graininess in the future.

I really like this - the grain doesn't bother me, although the color fringing on the socks does. I took the liberty of cleaning it up and I really like the look of it - I hope you don't mind.

I love the beach and I love how this image gives me that "beachy" feeling without beating me over the head.
