    Highland gate

    Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

    Wow! What a scene!
    You could probably shoot a hundred different angles.

    I like this composition a lot, but it seems overly saturated. That might be due to the wet though, which does seem to bring greens out.
    I also see several blown spots on leaves and wall. Probably sky reflections on wet surfaces.
    I think it would be worthwhile to 'fix' these in editing.

    We used to have a mossy rock wall along a road near here. They replaced it with still guard rails....such a shame.

    I love that shot. I think the rain and overcast skys are what makes everything so saturated which I happen to like. I don't think it would have been anywhere near as nice if the sun was out.

    Thanks all , I actually desaturated this a tad before posting. Guess I'll have to have a look at those hot spots Frog.
