    High Contrast

Last one from the British Museum for now.
I'm fairly happy with the contents of this one but every time I look at it I see it differently.
Really it's all about the lines. My 18-55 lens gave me all sorts of distortion on this one so I gave it a fair old bit of time in Transform to try to get some realistic result. So I look forward to hearing how you all feel about it.
    Many thanks.

    Many thanks JK
The moment I saw this on the board I felt I could have added a little more contrast actually.

great composition, i dig the lines/patterns, but I agree with you that it could use a little more contrast.

    Re: High Contrast

I'm really enjoying this series Tom. Last one? This is only the 2nd one I've seen. I should go back and search for the others.

The only critique I have for this is that It might have been a bit too tight. I wanna see more of the building on the right. But the framing is still excellent!

    Re: High Contrast

Really fine, Tom. Agreed that a slight contrast boost would give some needed punch, but the framing is very good. I think you handled whatever distortion there might have been successfully as it is not an issue here.

    Re: High Contrast

Very interesting shot! I like the angle you shot it at and most of the composition. I think I would crop out about half of the white building on the side because it competes too much with the roof thingies. I agree that there should be more contrast also. The blue sky should be more saturated. I really like the amount of building you showed on the right side - perfect IMO, and it's angle and detail really adds elegance to the photo. But by comparison, the left side building seems pretty plain, like we're mixing contemporary and another style together.

Overall I think that if you can correct the few issues described that this would look great printed out and framed.

I think this is just very slick. I love the way the lines dance inside the picture. Even the frame seems to match the picture, appearing to stop the movement inside preventing it from spilling out.

Nice shot Tom, I wouldn't mind seeing a before shot to see how you transformed it.
