You can only get here by helicopter. Weight limits.

There is a species of bird on this island. Ground dwellers. The first night there they started up at dusk. It is difficult to describe how they sound, but it is kind of a cross between a really pissed of cat during mating season and a slightly dispeptic cow. Anyway, they get going at dusk. All my past experience with birds is that they make a bit of a rukus at sundown and then settle down like all good animals for a night of tv and quiet contemplation. I told the wife not to worry...

All.... freaking.... night....! Every night.

The hotel provides ear plugs, but we had our own. If you go here you will need them.

Great viewing of turtle breeding, well the aftermath of anyway. Birth. The rush to the water avoiding the crab holes designed to catch you, avoiding the birds. Avoiding the sharks and parrot fish. Life as a baby turtle seems rather daunting. Glad I got human.

Or am I?
