    Those look great, nice dof. I like the image in black and white, but it seems to have a few hot spots.

    Had a bit of a fight with the light I see but I think you did well.
    I love the wink in the b/w one. That is what makes it a memorable shot.

    I love the winking one! My only 'critique' is what the PP said about the highlights being a bit too bright in the conversion.

    I made the mistake of reading this while drinking a diet pepsi... now I need some napkins to wipe my monitor down, LOL

    The highlights did get blown with the black and white conversion (I just used lightroom's preset to convert). Actually pre-conversion it was a little too low in contrast.

    Here's a version with some highlight recovery...

    great shots. I love the first one coz of the wink but I think the second one looks great.

    The black and white edit looks a lot better, IMO! makes picking one of the two very hard.
