    Re: The Headstand

My first thought was the same as RebelXT's, about the Hanes ad...hehe. My next thought was this is a really great pose, and very cute. I can see why the mom loved it! The color is great against the dark backdrop.
My only nits would be that there's a little something on the right that you might want to clone out...I don't know what it is...and also, it's cropped really tight around her hands. I'd love it if there was even a teensy bit more room around each hand...but that's my own personal preference!
    Really cute photo!

the more i look at it, the hanes logo kind of distracts me from the funny face and other things.

idk if this looks better or not.. i guess its a personal preference

You are probably going to think I'm off my rocker, but the first thing my wife would point out is that her socks are dirty.;)

The first thing I thought of, is why not flip it like this?

P.S. I took a run at "cleaning" the socks, too.

LMAO!! So funny LL! I love the one of Joshua upside down and that you cleaned up is socks!! Awesome. I knew the dirty feet would be the biggest detractor from this image but he had done about 15 headstands in the preceding hour for everyone's entertainment and he had begun to tire out by the time I got around to saying 'Hey do one over in front of the curtain so I can take a clean shot.' He couldn't lift his feet over his head any more by the time I took this! Poor kiddo at least he slept really well that night!

Thanks for the logo removal RXT!

Emily - Yes the crop is close, I had to crop his brothers out of the shot. The thing on the right edge is his youngest brother's elbow so I wasn't entirely successful. I would have like to have given him so more room to include his fingers more but that was the absolute limit as there were little brothers on either side and that expression on his face is a real keeper.

    Here are two more:

The full up headstand and the right side up portrait (otherwise entitled "Why Mama could forgive dirty socks in the other picture.")

    Re: The Headstand

I actually like the "Hanes" and I also like the dirty socks........I have kids though, I like dirty feet! LOL
As far as the hanes logo, I think it gives the feet a "purpose" so to speak. I think that the original is great, The only thing I would say, has already been said, clone out the elbow and leave a little more around the hands(which I understand was not possible at shooting)......

Other then that, I love it!! The colors are great too!

It's great, and fits your signature well. It certainly has personality! The only thing I don't care for is the slight spot on the right, the dirty socks, hanes, and crop are fine to me.
