Heading For The Sun

Another Navy picture. I left open area to give a sense of where this ship was headed. It was late in the afternoon with the sun starting to go down. This picture, like the others, is 35 yrs old, scanned from a slide. Keep in mind I had NO idea what I was doing, and was working with a fairly inexpensive camera, the name of which is looooooong forgotten.;)

The light on the well positioned boat is great but the capture of the disturbed water is even nicer.. It's gtreat that you still have these after all those years.

John, this is good. i also like the white water crashing into the hull. your comp with the ship coming out of the lower corner and heading off into the open space where the sun is setting is very good. The exposure and sharpness look fine. i enjoy viewing this scene.
