When shooting mid day a ND grad filter and a polarizer will help get more detail out of the sky. Even if you shot B&W the polarizer will help. Also watch not to get your horizons to centered and always level them. I hope that helps.......
I am like Barney Fife, I have a gun but Andy makes me keep the bullet in my pocket..
I know it's late in the day since you posted this in Sept. but I like the second and last shot. A loan cow to the right in the 2nd shot would have added to the picture (my opinion), but I guess you didn't have one handy. S

Please don't edit and re-post or use my images (not that you'd want to anyway...). without my written permission. Thank you
"why cant a cow get a square meal...because the hay comes in rolls..." ok it was cheesy but hey i bet it made you smile. Not much you can do about level horizons when the ground wont coopperate. A cow or horse in the 4th picture would definatly add a lil bit more depth to the picture. but all in all very americana, makes me wanna go churn butter or milk a cow. good shots.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO HOO what a ride!
