Hartford & Springfield Valley from the air

A buddy of mine is a private pilot and asked me to join him the other day for a quick ride up the Ct. River near Hartford. Of course I couldn't so no. I grabbed my camera and took a few shots of the landscape. Hope you enjoy them. Downtown Hartford, Six Flags New England, and UConn Football Field.

Good work, glad to hear you took the op. The shots are decent, not spectacular but not bad. The top shot is my favorite, though I'm not sure if the lighting on the buildings is ideal (but you take what you can sometimes). Seems like the horizon has a little pin-cushion distortion? I spot that miles away cause all my lens distort, much to my dismay

I think the pin-cushion distortion might look like that but I was shooting thru a plastic window that was not the greatest in clearity. Had some scratches and fading, but like you said you have to take them for what I could get. If these were for a client I'm sure I would have cleaned the windows on both sides or sit in the front with the window open. (not to keen on that idea) but do what would be needed to be done nonetheless.
