    Happy Veterans Day

I know the comp isn't great, but I just wanted to post a tribute to my fellow veterans out there. I wish the flag was a little larger. Of course all critiques are welcomed.

Whoah Matt, this is a nice shot if not a tad congested! Not sure where you took it from, but there's a hint of a balcony railing on the bottom right. Very detailed.

BTW, there's a Veteran's parade in downtown SD tomorrow (Monday) which I may attend. There may be some decent photo ops.

Thanks Greg, it was taken from the top of the Grand Hyatt. I can't believe I missed that railing. I didn't have much time and I only had my 32mm lens. I would have liked to zoom in on the flag and get rid of some of the clutter, oh well maybe next time. Thanks again.

Very nice. Get rid of the railing, of course (cloning should be quick and easy). And I might experiment with darkening the sky just a little. A fun shot to look at.

Nice capture. Did you PhotoShop the flag? I would think a long exposure wold be blurry.
