    Happy Sled Ride

YAY!! We finally got some snow... well ok.. more like ice fields... but close enough to snow to get out the sleds.

Here's one from yesterday of my son after enjoying a few rides down the hill. Light was waning as the sun fell lower to the horizon but I think I did pretty good for the levels of light I had to work with.

Slight noise reduction with Noise Ninja + a crop was all I did to si photo.

Critiques and Criticisms welcomed and expected. Feel free to tell me what you really think....even if you hate it.. at least ell me why.

Nice capture. Looks as though he is pretty cold.

    Re: Happy Sled Ride

Nice capture alright. I'd crop a tad off the top. It has a bluish cast that's not uncommon with snow and ice shots - seems they catch some of the sky's color. I think you have to use a color correction filter, or, manipulate afterwards in PS or something.

The kid looks cold by the way!

lol it was -21C so I have to agree.. I was putting the camera in and out of my coat to keep it within working temperatures and teh battery was showing low the entire time due to the temp.

Would a warming filter remove the bluish cast or should I do a levels adjustment o the blues?
