I'm a sucker for dogs and this is terrific, the only critique I have is that it seems to look a little dull and the brightness needs a bit of a boost on my monitor.

    Very Christmas Card like

Thank you, I was having a hard time because the sun was shining in through the window behind him, and I don't have great lighting in my living room.
I will continue to try and see if I can boost it up. My husband just ordered photoshop cs2 and so I will play with it in there.
    Thanks for the comment!

Oh, (s)he's so cute. Nice picture, chow. I would agree a little with roger on the brightness though it's not real bad on my monitor here at work. That would be a nice Christmas card pic, too.

Awwww, I love dogs, and this one is adorable!! I agree on the christmas card thing, it's really cheap to get those one hour places to do it. Maybe a little boost in light, but it kind of looks warm and cozy as is.

He's just absolutely adorable!! Awwww! I'll admit I like it as is, but since I like saturated, contrasty pictures, go ahead and do it anyway.

You have a good dog! And I can't believe you have all of your presents wrapped already!!! Jeez what am I even doing reading this forum now? I've got to get to work! LOL!

Beautiful scene. I concur with the others on making the foreground lighter. Once you get the CS2 I suggest giving it a little bump in the Shadows/Highlights section.

    Re: Happy Howlidays!!!

HaHa! I don't hardly have any presents wrapped. Those are just a few that we are giving to my sister and her boyfriend. I still haven't really wrapped any of ours. We tend to overdo the presents at Christmas, but we have two little girls and it is soooo much fun seeing their faces. I will have to post a picture after I actually get done wrapping! lol

Thanks for the comments about Koda. He is an awesome dog. He is a rescue from the shelter and he seems to appreciate every bit of attention he gets. I like the idea of the Christmas Card. I will have to see if I can get that in pretty soon. Thanks!

    Re: Happy Howlidays!!!

Sweet dog! and a great Christmasy shot! makes me think of the carols.

    The weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
Oh, since we've no place to go
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Well it doesn't show signs of stopping
But we've got some corn for popping
And the lights are turned way down low
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

    When we finally kiss goodnight
How I hate going out in the storm
But as long as you hold me tight
Woah all the way home I'll be warm

Well the fire is slowly dying
But my dear we're still goodbye-ing
And as long as you love me so
Let it snow, let it snow (let it snow)
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow (let it snow)
