    Re: Hang loose.... :)

J - I like the smooth even walls, and the geometry is interesting. I am not sure about the subject.. I can't quite make out what's happening. Part of the problem is that there's too much dark area behind the hanging thing (whatever it is), and that it and the fellow above it are so small in the frame Plus there's so many distracting lines, angles, and objects in the photo that it makes it hard for me to focus on anything in particular. Even w/o the hanging spectacle, I guess the opposing geometry is just too overwhelming for me. But, there sure are a lot of possibilities here........

    Re: Hang loose.... :)

I too can't really tell what is going on in the photos but I'm thinking that if you wider lens in the top image to get more of a sense of place and then a longer lens in the second image so we could clearly see what they are doing this would be a much better pair.

I'm looking at these as "Illustration" shots rather than "Art". As such you really want the story/idea to be really easy for the viewer to figure out the first time they see your pix.
    No, I DON'T need that.

I agree with the comments of MB1. i think that if you captured the Elephant sitting on it's perch as the backdrop for the hangind man, it might be more interesting. for the 1st photo, i think cropping off about 1/3 from the right side and the first elephant on the left would help alot.

This seems like one of those situations where it would have helped to move around a bit and find the right perspective. Perhaps getting under the hanging man and shooting up, past him, to the guy leaning over and laughing. Or straight on with the three arches filling up the width of the frame.

The first shot doesn't do anything for me.

Btw, next time you're there, can you pick up some replacement lenses for me at the Oakley store? Great! Thanks!

    Re: Hang loose.... :)

    Guys
    Thanks a bunch..
Here is another photo with a different view,,Please share your thoughts..
As for the pictures above, please feel free ''if'' you have the time to change alter them...

By the way GB, Love the new avatar

I love going to the Kodak theature and Hollywood in General...
By the way, last night I started to clean up my computer and as I looked at Pictures I took even a year ago, I was shocked at how awful some of those pictures I once thought were good...where really bad..

So really the CC really does help and I take it all in a very good light....
    Thanks,
    javier

I do realize that this photo in no way helps my cause as far the hanging man goes, but it is a different view of the same location..

Javier - I find the last post's geometry much simpler and appealing. The others have potential too but just had too many conflicts: the last one works together.

Glad you like the new avatar... I was doing studio shots and decided to do a self portrait
