These women row their overloaded flimsy boats all over Ha Long Bay in North Vietnam..These boats are their only means of transport between the islands on the bay..Note she is wearing a full mask to keep the sun off her face..White skin on a female is a sign of beauty in Vietnam.

This is a lovely photo of life and I think the composition is excellent. My only critique which you explained in the text is the full face mask, without the text I would have thought it was some form of political comment on the facelessness of the common people.
