Good eye for the subject. However there is more shadow across her face and a hot spot below it that bot detract from the overall effect.

Do you have more of this subject? The jewelry and costume are indeed winners with this Gypsy.

I do have have more of the gypsy girl. She was dancing and talking a lot so it was hard to get a good shot of her but here is another one.

Maybe try turning the exposure down alittle, and on the second have a tighter crop? I don't know I might be wrong... just a sugjestion.-Dave

You know it is a good shot for the difficult lighting, over all the subject is great. This isn't something you see every day, thats for sure. A burst of flash might have helped if you were close enough. What kind of camera were you using? At what distance were you?

Thats too bad the shadow was right in here face on that first one.

If you ever have the chance again try getting the subject to glance at you.

    Over all pretty good capture!

    How can I be lost
If I've got nowhere to go?

    Re: Gypsy Girl

There are still some shade/shadow issues, but this one works better, much better, as the shade almost looks like a veil and highlights her eyes quite well! Perhaps a bit less well focused or 'frozen', moving target I know, but still a good subject with this time some dynamic elements with her hand/arm coming up behind her neck.

Thanks for sharing both of these!
