    Either way could work but the image doesn't draw me in. I see it more as a texture for a background, maybe going in closer might work for an abstract.

    I prefer the landscape angle but I would like it better if the backlight was consistent.

    Rick,

    This doesn't excite me and even though technically you captured it well something is missing which I can't put my finger on; perhaps its not abstract enough or its just out of context.

    I remember seeing a door like this made out of wood either in London, Oxford, or Paris. I thought then it might make a good pick but didn't have a camera with me.
