Excellent shot. I am a fan of your work in general, and this one is no exception. I love the old 50's / 60's style of monochrome photography that seems to live through images. OK, now to critique: great tonal range, very good composition and subject matter interest. I like that the photo almost does not need a title as it "sort-of" explains itself. If I was to nit pick, I don't like the stacks of chairs of whatever they are right behind the couple - as I think those patterns compete with the people beyond. I would also consider a little bit of a vignette around the edges to accentuate the couple.
The moment it appeared on my screen it immediately reminded me The Kiss by Robert Doisneau; but I am not too sure why. I like the cassual way the couple choose to find somewhere to stop and browse amongst the stacks of tables and chairs. The chairs are a bit messy but they are part of the story if you like. The body language of their seated positions is so enjoyable and makes the photograph.
I have a total lack of respect for anything connected with society, except that which makes the roads safer, the beer stronger, the food cheaper, and the old men and old women warmer in the winter and happier in the summer. Brendan Behan
