I think young shooter's right....a cup full of straws over a light of some kind.

LOL, well it was supposed to be harder then that! It is a clear jar with multiple colored straws in it, but it is actually on the back of my couch tilted down so that my dining room light is the light source. It was a fun little project and I really liked the results.

I had no idea on the other hand...but it's still a great abstract shot!
