Gruesome, not for the faint hearted

Killed by my cat a fortnight ago and left to rot on a paving slab i watched as it slowly disintrigrated into this. Poor bird, died for cats amusement, i went of cat for a week. Comments welcome.

Not that bad (seen worse). Everything ends up like this one day.

Would have been interesting if you could have taken a photo a day and posted them here, to see the progression of the decay... It's not really that morbid, just the way things are. Cats love to sneak around and pounce, but it's funny when they get surprised - they dart away like 'scaredy' cats.

I somewhat agree with GB1. If you hadn't had said anything, I would have no idea what it was. A timeline would be neat, merely on a scientific level.

I agree it would have been interesting to see the progression, but as this stands, it appears so flat and hard to make out what were looking at, had you not said what it was. I'm curious to know if you'll answer Kellys question as I'm wondering " about went of cat for a week"

Hi Kelly and Gahspidy. Thanks for the interest.
I went of cat for a week means that for a week i did not like him anymore but then i realised he was only doing what is natural to him. He is such a charmer, really.
A fortnight is two weeks or fourteen days.
Never occurred to me to shoot the progression, do'oh !

Personally I like it; it looks archaeological.

    Hi Bobby,
The picture itself does not depict your story well but I am sure it has a particular meaning to you.
